About Peak

Experience Extraordinary Instruction

Only Peak Pilates offers you a single source for progressive equipment solutions and proven instructor education. It’s a winning combination that delivers results – in your workout rooms and on your bottom line.

Peak Pilates’ education is firmly grounded in the classical method. Our certification programs focus on professional development and a deep understanding of the integrated, systematic approach to Pilates. This enables your class members to build endurance, flexibility, strength and performance.

We also go beyond the basics. Teaching you how to teach not just what to teach. Our proprietary education model actually heightens your confidence level and expands your capabilities.

Learn at Your Own Pace.

Peak Pilates offers a modular educational pathway to instructor certification. This allows you to progress at your own pace and match your education to the level of Pilates you wish to teach. Every Peak Pilates student, regardless of fitness level or movement experience, starts by learning the Introductory System. This provides the foundation you need to create buzz-building classes and life-changing workouts.

THE NEW - Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification:

Created in a modular format to fit your lifestyle!

(Scroll down for info on Mat only Certification)

The new Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification is a three-level Pilates instructor training program which culminates in a Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification. The program provides integrated and systematic instruction on the mat, reformer, cadillac, chairs, barrels and accessories.

All 3 levels deliver Pilates teacher training in an affordable, easy to access module format that allows you to access and progress at your own pace. You must complete 14 CECs every two years to keep your certification current. However, if you successfully pass the next level in your pathway, your certification is automatically extended two years.

Lectures and presentations are combined with practical applications to prepare instructors to teach both private sessions and small group classes with confidence, clarity and success. Our comprehensive support materials include manuals and DVDs providing a wealth of information, exercise templates, cueing instructions and more.  As you learn the sequencing critical to delivering the System effectively in our three-part progressive format, you benefit from Peak Pilates® Formula for Success—the proprietary mentoring/training model that heightens your confidence and capability as an instructor. All three levels are sufficiently structured for the new teacher, yet rich enough for the experienced trainer.

Mat Certification

Peak Pilates® Mat Certification Program provides a solid foundation in the Classical Mat exercises, while delivering the tools necessary to progress individual clients and group classes safely and effectively in a health club or studio setting. We focus on "real life teaching," helping to prepare for the reality of what happens after the course is finished, and how to set yourself—and your class—up for success.

All levels teach the corresponding exercises, while layering in Building Blocks, Modifications and Exercise Guidelines designed to make you a more confident and effective teacher. We incorporate how to use the Power Circle® for every exercise in the program, as well as how to use props to support clients and help them improve alignment. Students are coached on how to effectively communicate and teach the exercises in a dynamic and impactful format. All levels encompass Peak Pilates's proprietary Five-Part Formula for Success, focusing on professional development and the skills that ensure confidence and mastery.
