Breast Cancer and Pilates Featuring our own Cynthia Kreider It's not easy to think you're healthy one minute then face a breast cancer diagnosis the next.Some women call treatment "hell" on their bodies. That's why the disease either serves as a fitness wake-up call or pushes many women to take their life back.

When attorney Cynthia Kreider isn't pounding on tables or yelling on the phone, she's teaching Pilates. "There's this inherent passion of mine for Pilates, some capability to perform it already, knowing Nancy, my mentor, and asking her, "What do you think?" Kreider said.

Kreider was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. She used Pilates to get full range of motion in her arms after her lumpectomy.
